Styled Shoot: Golden Hour Magic

On June 23, Milliken Manor was bathed in golden light as we hosted a stunning summer styled shoot that felt like pure magic. As the sun began to dip behind the trees, our historic estate came alive with soft yellows, creamy whites, and light, airy details that made every corner glow. The vision? A golden hour celebration of effortless elegance—with a splash of summer fun.

The design, brought to life by the incredibly talented Brittany of Brittany S Events, was all about romantic simplicity and elevated ease. Creamy blooms and delicate floral installations by Laura-Lee of Fern & Blossom Florals set the tone, creating an ethereal garden atmosphere that danced in the light.

Capturing every dreamy moment was Danielle of Rae of Sun Photos, whose warm, natural style perfectly complemented the setting. And from above, David Lescatre Jr.'s drone footage added a cinematic touch, highlighting Milliken Manor’s striking grounds at golden hour.

Guests—or in this case, our radiant real couple models Leana + Mike Spacone—were treated to craft cocktails by Erin of Pours and Petals, served from her beautifully curated mobile bar that stole the show. Fresh garnishes, chilled drinks, and chic presentation added the perfect touch of summer luxury.

As the evening heat lingered and the sky turned fiery orange, the energy soared. Laughter echoed, cameras clicked, and when the sun finally set, the day ended with a spontaneous and joy-filled jump into the pool—because sometimes the best moments are unplanned.

The look wouldn’t have been complete without expert styling: Alexandra Murtagh created effortless waves that flowed in the breeze, and Lana of LH Beauty enhanced Leana’s natural beauty with a soft, glowing makeup look. The gorgeous attire from Vows Bridal was the perfect blend of modern romance and timeless style.

It was one of those shoots where everything aligned—vision, talent, weather, and heart. We’re beyond grateful to have collaborated with such a passionate, kind, and wildly talented vendor team. The vibes were high, the drinks were cold, and the memories are forever.
